SASHI GRAYNDLER

MINTO GARDENS CHAPLAIN

Sashi was brought up in a Hindu family and heard the gospel of Jesus Christ at 19. It took her another 10 years to fully understand what it meant to trust Jesus as both Saviour and Lord. After graduating from Sydney Missionary and Bible College in her 30s, then six years as a missionary in SE Asia, she came back to church-based/pastoral ministry and in 2020, moved into the retirement living space.

As the chaplain at Anglicare’s Minto Gardens, Sashi provides pastoral care and spiritual support to the residents and staff. Along with running weekly chapel services and a Bible Study, she hopes to host some creative sessions with residents as well as spending time in one-to-one pastoral care.
