EASTER SUNDAY APRIL 12

LOOK AT JESUS

SEATED AT THE RIGHT HAND OF GOD

WELCOME

Every Easter Sunday we love doing two things to start off our Easter Church Services. While it is definitely not the same this year – let’s keep the tradition going!

Firstly, an Easter Greeting used by followers of Jesus down through the centuries.

Christ is Risen

He is Risen indeed

Secondly, we love the joy-filled songs proclaiming Christ is risen from the dead

SONGS

PRAYERS

An Easter Prayer

Almighty God,

You have conquered death

through your dearly beloved Son Jesus Christ.

You have opened to us the gate of everlasting life.

Enable us by your grace to set our minds on things above.

So that by your continual help

our whole life may be transformed.

For the honour of our Lord Jesus,

who lives and reigns

with you and the Holy Spirit

in everlasting glory. Amen.

TESTIMONY

We asked Jane who is a member of our church family to tell us how she became a follower of Jesus and how knowing God has raised Jesus from the dead helps her day to day. Thanks Jane for being willing to share!

A CHILDREN'S SONG

The Lord is King

The first verse of this Colin Buchanan song is just what our kids (and us adults) need to hear at the moment.

You might have seen bad things happening
On the TV news
You might be worrying bout the world
And wonder what will happen to you
Well put your trust in God alone
Cos he's still sittin' on his mighty throne
