Minto Anglican Church (formally known as St. James Anglican Church Minto) is a family-friendly church located in Sydney's south-western suburb of Minto.
We are passionate about telling people in our community all about Jesus.
Church should be a place where God's Word is open, read and taught faithfully each week; a place where everyone is welcome. Our hope is for every person who walks through our front doors, whether they be a regular or a newcomer, to hear God's great message of salvation shared.
Our goal is to learn more about Jesus; to grow together, and to let others know the Good News that God himself tells us about in the Bible.
That is why our goal is to 'know Christ, and to make him known'.
When you come to Minto Anglican Church you will hear about the Lord Jesus Christ, who gave his life to save sinful people from their rebellion against Him. He offers every man, woman and child salvation through his own blood, that was shed on the Cross.

An update from the church Wardens on starting back at Church:
Welcome back! Church is going to feel a little different under the COVID-19 restrictions, however below is some information to help everyone feel comfortable to meet together. We have used the Sydney Diocese and Government recommendations in preparing the church and services to reduce the risk of COVID-19 transmission.
The current configuration of seating permits a maximum of 80 people.
Entering The Church: Please maintain physical distancing of 1.5 metres. You will be greeted by a welcomer who will take your name and contact details and mark you off on a list to comply with contract tracing requirements. Hand Sanitiser will be available at the greeting table and must be used. Face masks are strongly recommended and single-use masks are available at the door.
Within The Church: A maximum of two unrelated people or one family group can occupy a pew. Please maintain physical distancing of 1.5 meters if not part of a family group.
During The Service: We are not permitted to sing as a group due to the increased risk of COVID-19 transmission.
We are unable to provide handouts. Please bring your own bible, pen and note book if you would like to take notes.
At The End Of The Service: we are currently not serving morning tea.
In order for the cleaning to occur there will be around fifteen minutes after the service before the building needs to be emptied for the cleaners to complete the required cleaning tasks. An announcement will be made five minutes before the building needs to close for cleaning.
- The cry room is available to use and has a total occupancy of four adults
- The kitchen is not available, please bring a bottle of water with you. We have some bottles as an emergency measure if you require water.
We look forward to seeing you and worshiping together with you.
